Thomas Delmer "Artimus" Pyle born July 15, 1948

Artimus joined the band in 1974 as a replacement for Bob Burns.

Artimus was hired almost sight unseen on Charlie Daniels word that he was a good one.

Artimus's double bass drumming added more excitement to the rhythms.

Saturday Night special is a good example of Artimus at his best.
